Corrective Action Form

Corrective actions are a central part of the incident reporting process. Once an incident has been submitted, a corrective action form is usually used as a follow on process to assign actions in relation to what has happened with the incident occurrence. This might involve assigning the action to a responsible person and part that is describing what you need them to do, by when, how, what action should be taken immediately, in the future and any other supporting information. Reminders might be sent to ensure the action is completed or escalated further. The corrective action form might be different in relation to different types of incidents (i.e. an injury report versus a property damage report or security incident.
